Faresaver currently have a fleet of over 50 vehicles, it started out with a mere few, branded as Fosseway Coaches, in April 1979. It started with Ford Transit minibus WTR943J, after that many Mercedes minibuses were acquired to cover a whole network of routes in Wiltshire & Somerset. Many of the bus services in Bath, currently operated by FirstBus were once run by Fosseway/Faresaver. Such as service 4 (at the time the 14), 5 & 265. Many services run by First up until recently were also operated by them, such as the 231, 234 & 337 (now the 37). Faresaver also ran some inner city minibuses in Bath, such as the 734 between the centre and Bathwick, now run by CT Coaches. Many of these Mercedes minibuses were acquired from Arriva, used in service still in their livery. After the Mercedes came their first SLF Dart: R509SJM. Many then followed suit with plenty of Marshall Capital bodied Darts joining the fleet, such as R334RMW. After that, 3 Caetano Nimbus Darts joined the fleet, such as HT52WTD. Optare Solos soon joined the fleet, one of the first was DX04WVR. Another bus which Faresaver invested vastly in were the MCV Evolution bodied MAN 14.220s. Around 20 have been bought & sold over the years, with the first that springs to mind being AE54MVZ. This was re-registered as W20PJC before it arrived at Faresaver, and thebn latterly by Faresaver as KBK750. Until the registration was reverted to its original ready for sale. After which came the Enviro200s, with the first 2 being GN57DAU & KX57BWE, shortly followed by GX57BXH, then re- registered as FA54VER. More recently, the company took the decision to purchase 8 Volvo double deckers. The first 2 were LG52DDE /F, re-registered as PSV444 & BU51TOY respectively. Then came the 4 ALX400 bodied examples, and even more recently Volvo B9TLs: BJ11EAC/EBM & BX12CVK/M.
